Weekend Blog

Happy soggy Saturday parents,

I hope you’re enjoying some family time, and are not too eager for your youngsters to return to school lol.

Our Spring Gardening/Cooking Camp has been fabulous, with a dozen children having the time of their lives seed-planting, goat-walking, making zucchini spaghetti and a hundred other activities crammed into an action-packed week!  Thanks to Amanda and our visiting expert, Angelika Bendrich for their great work with the children.

On Monday a new group will arrive for a week of fun with Eric.  (It’s not too late to join, if you’re looking for a productive week for your child(ren).)

They had a great time at the Heritage House too, and there is also space there for 3-5’s next week.  Call for more info: 604-510-2588

Huge thanks to everyone who attended our

Gala Fundraiser Pub Night at Jimmy Flynn’s

What a success!  We had such a fun time, and we raised over $1000!!

20150312_195404Fabulous planning and hosting by Jenn and Daryl Wisdahl, Aimée Sulz, Doreen, Véronique and Gayle.  Go team!

Our band was amazing, we made them keep playing ‘til they dropped:  Aimée’s brilliant singing, Eric’s smooth trumpet, Daryn, Matthew, Ray and one more (sorry, don’t know his name) who played a variety of toe-tapping tunes with a spontaneous synchronicity that I marveled at and could have watched all night!

We’ll do it again for our next trip, for all those who missed it!

Thank you so much for this valuable support for our delegates to the United Nations, departing March 24!

Primary, Elementary, Secondary Re-registration for 2015-2016

As stated earlier, our information sessions are attracting new families, but be confident that, as current students, your children will be given priority until March 27!  Please note that re-registration is not automatic; you must re-register!

Wondering whether or not your primary child should continue with us?  Watch this!

And announcing:  April 1, a new primary class will open at the Heritage Home and…

Sept 1   Grade 10 – 12 starts in Langley!  Call for more details.

Would you like a little extra income for providing homestay for visiting Japanese families?  (See they’ve heard about us even in Japan!)  Expand your horizons and help your children learn about a new culture; Talk to Véronique for more details if you’re interested.

Again, a big hand to the Saini’s for videorecording the New York Gala.  I just watched it and loved it!  Copies are available for $5.  Order at the office: 604-510-2588
